Attention South Shreveport residents! 🏡 Due to widespread pressure loss, the Department of Water and Sewerage issues a **voluntary boil advisory** for the SOUTHEAST PRESSURE ZONE. This includes areas south of East Bert Kouns, some Linwood Avenue subdivisions, and the southeast of the I-49 and 3132 interchange.
🚰 Take these precautions:
**Boil Water:** Boil for 1 min, starting after reaching a rolling boil. Eliminate flat taste by shaking or pouring between clean containers.
**Await Clearance:** Advisory remains until lab tests clear. We'll notify you when it's safe, approved by the Louisiana Department of Health.

🔴Mayor Arceneaux announced today the City of Shreveport offices will remain closed Wednesday, January 17 due to inclement winter weather.

🔵Garbage pickup will resume on Thursday, January 18 and Friday, January 19 and return to regular pick-up service on Monday, January 22.
🔴SPAR will continue to operate warming shelters tomorrow, January 17 from 8AM -7PM.
🛬Shreveport Regional Airport will resume operations today, January 16 at 2:30PM.
🔵To assure we are being of assistance to the constituents, employees continue to work virtually.
🔴 SporTran Transit will resume operations at noon Wednesday, January 17 with limited services.
‼️Residents should take action to protect the” Four P’s” -people, pets, pipes, and plants.
🔴Please follow our social media page for additional information and updates as we continue to work with parish, state, and federal agencies.

NO garbage WILL BE collected Monday and offices are CLOSED.
Monday's garbage will be collected Tuesday.
Tuesday's garbage will be collected Wednesday.
Thursday's garbage collection WILL NOT CHANGE.
Friday's garbage collection WILL NOT CHANGE.
